Time Travel
Note: Before reading this section, it would be important to be familiar with the concepts discussed in the section entitled, "The Nature of Time".
As we become more deeply involved in our Lightwork mission, the scope of our interdimensional activities tends to become increasingly expansive. At some point, this inevitably involves the need for time travel. Such travel may one of two different, but related, types:
Let's consider each of these in more detail.
Time Travel Within the Earth DomainLet's begin with a consideration of time travel within the time/space domain of Earth. There is a tendency within our human consciousness to assume that civilization on Earth does not yet exist beyond the current time. In other words, as I am writing this in the year 1996, there is a tendency within human consciousness to assume that 1997 has not yet "happened". But such is not the case. In order to assist us in comprehending this, it is necessary for us to change our "reference point" from which we view time. The problem is that we tend to use "ourself" as the reference point. And from this reference point, we look at a clock on the wall and see the hands moving around, helping us keep track of how much time has gone past us. In other words, we perceive time from the perspective of ourself being the fixed point of reference, with time being that which is moving. And from that perspective, if we sit on our sofa watching the hands on a clock moving around such that the small hand has moved from 7:00 o'clock to 8:00 o'clock, we assume that one hours worth of time has passed us. So let's now change our point of reference. In order to help us do that, let's begin by considering the nature of space , the other aspect of our time/space domain. If we are currently in the city of Denver, and want to go to the city of Chicago, we must find a means of conveyance so that we can travel to Chicago. We do not expect Chicago to come to us! In other words, we view space as being in a "fixed" position, and if we want to be somewhere else in space, it is we who must do the traveling. In reality, however, the same thing is true of time. In this sense, time, like space, is in a fixed position. And if we want to be somewhere else in time, it is we who must do the traveling. The catch is that we are constantly moving through time at a fixed speed. So if we are in 1996, and we want to be in the year 2000, we have two choices:
In a similar manner, if we are in 1996, and we want to be in 1900, we must reverse the direction of our travel through time.
Airplane AnalogyLet's consider another analogy. Let's envision ourself in an airplane at night, traveling across the Atlantic, from New York to Paris. We are eating our dinner (that wonderful airplane food!), and the lights inside the airplane are on so that we can see what we are eating (a questionable advantage). We also are aware of the various other activities going on inside the airplane. After a while, we become completely oblivious to the fact that we are traveling through space in excess of 500 miles per hour. That is because our point of reference has changed. Our point of reference has become the interior of the airplane. And since everything within this domain is traveling at the same speed, we forget that we are even moving. But if we get up from our seat to go to the back of the airplane to use the lavatory, then we feel like we are moving. But in reality, by walking in the opposite direction that the airplane is traveling, we have simply found a way to slow down our rate of travel, ever so minutely, so that relative to the speed of the airplane, we end up in a different place in space -- the lavatory. Likewise when we return to our seat, we simply accelerate our speed, relative to the speed of the airplane, so that we once again resume our assigned position in space within the airplane.
Time LocksIn relation to this analogy, the "time locks" that are discussed in the section entitled, "The Nature of Time", are like "seat belts". Because just as seat belts keep us in a fixed relative position as we travel through space, so also the time lock within our soul structure keep us in a fixed relative position as we travel through time. And just as within the airplane we must unfasten our seat belts if we want to move through space from our fixed relative position, so also must we release our time lock if we want to move through time from our fixed relative position. In the ordinary course of our life, we usually keep our time lock fastened, so that we maintain our fixed relative position. And since all of our companions on our journey through life also usually keep their time locks fastened, we easily become oblivious to the fact that we all are moving through time at a constant rate, since just like the inside of an airplane, we are all traveling at the same rate.
Bleedthrough from Adjacent Time SpiralsBefore we leave the subject of time locks, I feel it is important to briefly address the situations in which time-locks do not function properly. There are many people with mental disorders who from time to time experience more than one reality simultaneously. This would come under the general category of "hallucination". In many of these cases, what is really happening is that an individual is experiencing " bleedthrough" from an adjacent time spiral. Once again, let's use the analogy of a phonograph. Since most of us have not had personal experience with the early types of phonographs which utilized cylindrical recording devices, let move forward a bit in technology and consider phonographs which utilize the more-familiar dick-shaped phonograph records. From our experience we know that if the record is in good condition, and the needle, or stylus, also is in good condition, we can expect to hear sound with reasonably good fidelity. But as the stylus begins to wear down, the fidelity deteriorates accordingly. If we allow the stylus to wear down to an extreme degree, so that it becomes to broad in relation to the groove in the record, we may start to hear some bleedthrough from the adjacent grooves. In this sense, we are then experiencing multiple realities -- we are hearing the music from the primary grove, but if we shift the focus of our hearing, we may also distinguish the music from one or both adjacent groves. Such is the case of a person with an impaired time lock. For them, they are actually perceiving not only the reality from the primary time track, but also the reality from one or both adjacent time tracks. In severe cases, the multiple realities may bleed together into a composite reality, such that they are unable to distinguish which is their primary reality. Obviously, we need to understand more about the nature of time locks, and how to restore those that have become impaired.
The Dynamics of Time TravelNext. let's consider the "dynamics" of time travel. In the section entitled, "The Nature of Time", we indicated that time exists in the form of a spiral . And to illustrate this, we used the example of a recording cylinder on one of the early types of phonographs, with the recorded "grooves" progressing spirally around the cylinder from one end to the other. Now, if we want to change our position in time relative to our fixed position, there are two alternative ways we can go about doing this:
Wagon-Train AnalogyAt the risk of an "overdose" of analogies, let's consider one more. I have termed this one the "Wagon-Train" analogy. During the mid-19th Century, thousands of pioneers emigrated from the Eastern part of the United States to the West, via the Oregon Trail. Wagon trains typically departed from Independence Missouri in the early Spring, and if luck was with them during their journey, arrived in Oregon about 6 months later. For the purpose of this analogy, let's assume that starting in mid-March, a new wagon train departed Independence once a week, headed for Oregon. And let's also assume that each wagon train covered a distance of 10 miles per day. If we consider the journey to Oregon to be analogous to traveling through time, then each week would represent one of the spirals of time. Now let's assume that I, as a Light Worker, was looking for a great adventure. So I decided to become part of the first wagon train heading west in the early spring. Let's assume that all went reasonably well during the early part of the trip. But as our wagon train was passing through Wyoming, we were confronted by a group of Native Americans. Out of fear and ignorance, some of the members of our wagon train killed some of the Native Americans. Later along the trail, the Native Americans retaliated with an attack on our wagon train. Many of the members of our wagon train were, in turn, killed. I happened to be more fortunate, and survived with only a few scars. Now, lets assume that I knew that some of my friends had planned to become part of the second wagon train leaving Independence this spring. Thus, they most likely would be traveling the same route, but only about 70 miles, or one week, behind. Naturally, I am concerned for their well being, as I know that unless they alter their approach, they most likely will have a similar unfortunate encounter. But I am a Light Worker with a compassionate heart! And I feel confident that if I could just find a way to get back to the second wagon train while they are still in their current position, I could forewarn them of the impending danger. And thus we could work out an alternative approach in dealing with the Native Americans. Perhaps I could help negotiate a peaceful settlement with the Native Americans, and thus ensure safe passage not only for the second wagon train, but for the subsequent wagon trains as well. My only problem is how to get from when I am, to where I want to be. It occurs to me that there are a couple of choices:
Although this analogy is certainly imperfect, hopefully it conveys the concept of the difference between traveling along the spirals of time, versus traveling across , or transecting, the spirals of time. And perhaps in a subtle way, it also conveys a perspective on our Lightwork mission here in this point in time, since many of us have returned from future time to assist humanity through this difficult passage. This latter aspect is discussed in the section entitled, "Back form Future Time".
Travel Beyond the Time/Space Domain of EarthUp to this point, we have been considering time travel within the time/space domain of Earth. Let's now consider the dynamics of time that are involved when we travel outside the time/space domain of Earth. To begin this discussion, let's consider the qualifications that are required before one is able to travel beyond the Earth realm. The qualifications are based on the initiatory level. There are two different types of situations involved:
Travel Within Our Solar SystemIn the section entitled, "Initiation", we indicated that when one completes the Fourth Solar initiation, the oversoul is shifted from the higher mental realm of Earth, to the emotional realm of our Sun. Thus, this initiation also opens the door for travel beyond the bounds of Earth, but remaining with our solar system. Travel beyond Earth can either be done in a spaces ship, or in our own "Merkabah" vehicle. In this regard, it is important to note that before the Fourth Initiation can be completed, it is first necessary to undergo a transmutational restructuring of the geometry of our Light body to what we have termed "Oversoul-ll". As discussed in the section entitled, "Soul and Oversoul Structure", this transmutation provides us with a Merkabah vehicle, which is in the form of two 4-sided pyramids joined together at the base. Since the time/space domains of all of the planets of our solar system are synchronized by our Sun, our oversoul, which at this point resides within the realm of the Sun, is able to maintain time synchronization while we are away from Earth. However, there is yet another aspect which needs to be address, and that is the concept of "portals". Within the interdimensional structure of our planet, there are a significant number of "passageways" between dimensions, which are usually referred to as "portals". Thus, when we leave the domain of Earth, whether it be in a space ship or in our own Merkabah vehicle, we must exit through a portal. And when we return to Earth, we must re-enter through the same portal through which we exited. If we do not, we could end up in a reality that is different from the one that we left. Since distances within our solar system are relatively short, at least in relation to the size of our universe, we can normally travel within our solar system in "real time". In other words, if we travel to a meeting on Saturn, and the trip requires the equivalent of 4 hours of Earth time, we will return to Earth 4 hours later than the time at which we left.
Travel Beyond Our Solar SystemBefore we are qualified to travel beyond the realm of our Sun, we must first have completed the equivalent of the 5th Solar Initiation. This shifts our oversoul to the mental realm of the Sun. When we travel beyond our solar system, we normally travel in a space ship, rather than in our Merkabah vehicle. Again, the ship must exit and re-enter the time/space domain of Earth through the same portal. But as we prepare to leave the domain of Earth and our solar system we are no longer able to utilize the time-synchronization function of our Sun as a reference point. Thus, we must shift to the time- synchronization pulses of our galaxy. This function is performed by sophisticated technology which is an inherent part of the ship. Since the distances involved in galactic and intergalactic travel are significant, it is not practical to do this in "real time". In other words, if I am going to go to a meeting on Alcyone, within the Pleiadian cluster, as I frequently do, the trip may require the equivalent of 2 days of Earth time. And since it is not practical for me to leave my physical body lying in bed uninhabited for 2 days, such trips require time phasing . This simply means that when the ship within which I am traveling returns to Earth, it first travels backward through time to a point shortly after my exit time, before teleporting me back into my body. My experience has been that in trips which involve time phasing, my time of return is usually about 1 to 2 hours later than my departure time, as measured by the clock.
The Human Experience of Time TravelLet me begin with some comments regarding qualifications, and also preparation, for time travel. In the foregoing, it was indicated that before one is qualified to travel beyond Earth, one must have completed the Fourth Solar initiation. And before traveling beyond our solar system, one must have completed the Fifth Solar initiation. However, all of the Light Workers who came to Earth as part of the first two groups were already well beyond this point of evolutionary development before they came here. Thus, with regard to interdimensional and interplanetary travel, all were qualified to do so from the moment they arrived here. A considerable number of Light Workers who came in subsequent groups also already were at least at this level of evolutionary development, and thus were similarly qualified. However, time travel and time phasing can be somewhat stressful on the physical body, even though the physical body is usually not directly involved in the travel itself. Thus, for our own protection, we usually do not start making trips that involve time travel or time phasing until we are quite far along in our healing and purification processes. Again, let me share some of my own experiences in this regard. When I first started time traveling several years ago, the trips were quite taxing on my physical body. The physiological symptoms which I usually experienced upon my return were as follows:
My experience has been that these symptoms clear most rapidly if I get out of bed, and move about for a bit. This is particularly helpful in regard to the achiness in my legs. If the disorientation of my energy bodies is significant, a warm bath or shower is very helpful in re- stabilizing my energy field. In most cases, these symptoms usually clear within about an hour. When I first started going on trips that require time phasing, the frequency was usually not more than one or two a month. But over a period of time, the body adapts to the time travel experience. So my normal experience now is that such trips occur 5 or 6 times a week, and the after effects are very mild. Usually the dryness in the eyes, the overheated body, and the achiness in the legs are the most noticeable.
Memory of the ExperiencesI do not retain direct memory of my interdimensional experiences, whether or not they involve time phasing. Although this has been a source of frustration for me, in many ways it also has been a blessing. It is my understanding that whether or not memory is available to our conscious mind is a decision that is made by our oversoul. And it seems that for the majority of Light Workers, the decision is to not bridge the memory into the conscious mind. This certainly is less disorienting to our human life. One of my Light Worker friends retains memory of his other-dimensional experiences almost as completely as he does his normal experiences. For him, this has been quite disorienting to his human life. This is particularly true after a long trip that requires time phasing, because it inserts an additional time segment into normal flow of life experiences. In my own situation, I currently , through time phasing, spend a lot more time "off planet" than I do "on planet". So I understand the appropriateness of not remembering. For many of the Light Workers, it seems that the first adventure involving time phasing is in the form of a trip back to their "home" star system. Since by now I have had a considerable amount of experience with time phasing, on several different occasions such a "maiden voyage" of a Light Worker friend of mine has been planned during a period of time when I was visiting them. In some cases I have gone on the trip with them, and in other cases I have remained behind. But in either case, my presence seems to be used as a stabilizing influence.
Inter-relationship Between Time and SpaceThe time/space domain is sometimes referred to as time/space "fabric". This is because like in a fabric, the "threads" of time interweave the "threads" of space. One of the implications of this is that in order to travel a significant distance through time, it also is necessary to travel a significant distance through space. Otherwise it is too stressful. Since I live near the Rocky Mountains, an analogy that is meaningful to me involves the relationship between distance and elevation. If one is going to traverse over a mountain pass, it is much less stressful to follow a gentle grade, thus traveling a greater distance. In other words, if one were to attempt to gain 5,000 feet of altitude in a lateral distance of only a mile, it would indeed be very stressful. Some additional aspects related to time and time travel are discussed in the section entitled, "Back From Future Time".
