Soul Consolidations and Transfers

Before reading this section, it would be helpful to have some familiarity with the concepts discussed in the section entitled, "Soul and Oversoul Structures".

During recent years, many of the Light Workers have been undergoing various forms of soul and oversoul rearrangements. Let's discuss some of the more common experiences.

Oversoul Consolidation

In the section entitled,"Soul and Oversoul Structures", we discussed some of the various types of oversoul structures. The most common type of oversoul structure among the Light Workers who came to Earth as part of either of the first two groups is the "Star-Cluster Oversoul". So let's use this structure for purposes of illustration.

An oversoul within such a structure consists of a "master soul unit", and 7 individual soul units. Such oversouls are clustered together in a group of 7 oversouls, along with an 8th "master oversoul unit". But let's begin with our focus on just one of these oversoul units.

Throughout most of our incarnational experience here on Earth, each of the soul units within the oversoul structure has embodied in separate, simultaneous incarnations. From the perspective of the oversoul, this expansion of incarnational experiences enables the oversoul to accelerate it evolutionary development.

When the plans for the final phase of this long evolutionary cycle were being worked out, it was anticipated that most of the Light Workers, at least those from the early groups, would go through the ascension process at some point during this lifetime. One of the prerequisites for ascension is that all of the soul units of an oversoul structure must be embodied in the same body. One reason for this is that ascension is an experience of the total oversoul; it cannot be undertaken by just one soul unit independently. And since ascension involves the transformation of the physical body, in order to create an ascension body, this cannot be done with multiple bodies involved.

So within the context of this ascension plan, each of the oversouls worked out a plan as to how it would accomplish this "oversoul consolidation". The development of such a plan started with a decision as to the particular embodiment into which the various soul units would be consolidated. Typically, just one of the 7 soul units would initially be extended into this particular embodiment. Such an embodiment could either be through the natural birth process, or through a "soul transfer" arrangement (to be discussed later). In most cases, is was the plan that this embodiment would proceed through the early life experiences, and through a significant part of the awakening and healing processes, before other soul units would begin to integrate into the embodiment.

For the majority of Light Workers, this integration, or consolidation, process has begun sometime within the past 10 years -- in fact, in many cases it has begun only within the past 5 years.

Identity Issues

In the lives of many of the Light Workers, there has been a lot of confusion around this entire issue. One reason for this is that as the second soul begins to integrate into the embodiment, a Light Worker may suddenly begin to feel like a "different person". It is not at all uncommon that such a person might feel inclined to change their name, of even leave a relationship, because in reality, they are a different person -- or at least, 50% of them is a different person.

Typically, after the integration of the second soul unit into the embodiment is completed -- a process that may take place over a period of a couple of months -- the embodiment will remain in that configuration for 2 or 3 years, in order to enable the personality-self to assimilate the influence of the second soul.

After such a period of assimilation is completed, then the 3rd soul unit will begin to integrate into the embodiment. Usually the assimilation process is slightly easier related to the 3rd soul unit, because at that point only 33% of the embodiment is "new". So the time period for assimilation of the 3rd soul unit is typically 1-2 years.

As this process continues, with the integration of the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th soul units, each successive integration tends to require somewhat less time for the assimilation process. Typically, the time period required for integration and assimilation of all of the soul units is in the range of 7 to 10 years. However, there are various factors that may cause the assimilation period to be extended.

As the soul units progressively integrate into the embodiment, they tend to take turns being in the "drivers seat". In other words, one soul unit may function in the forefront of the personality self for a period of time, while the other souls remain in the background. Then, one of the other soul units may take a turn at being in the forefront. This may cause such a Light Worker to feel at times like he/she has multiple personalities. Close friends also may be sensitive to this "revolving chair" phenomenon. Sometimes this can create significant complications in a relationship. Consider, for a moment, a hypothetical situation in which the original soul in the embodiment has a close soul connection, and corresponding attraction, to the soul of a marriage partner. And then as other souls merge into the embodiment, the original soul may spend most of its time in the background. So one's spouse may experience very distinct personality shifts, and at times wonder whatever happened to the person he/she married.

There is yet another phenomenon which many of the Light Workers have experienced. Throughout the many lifetimes of evolutionary experience here on Earth, it is fairly common to extend some of the soul units into embodiment in human form, and other soul units into embodiment in cetacean forms. In such cases, when the soul units that have had many embodiments in cetacean forms are integrated into the singular human embodiment, the Light Worker may quite suddenly develop a deep attraction to the cetaceans, such as dolphins or whales. Many of the Light Workers who are currently working to help bridge understanding between the human and cetacean kingdoms are oversouls who have experienced embodiments in cetacean forms.

Healing the Individual Soul Units

There also are some important issues related to the healing process. One of the important purposes of this final lifetime of this evolutionary cycle is to heal, and bring into balance, all of the residual imbalances from previous lifetimes. So as each soul successively integrates into the embodiment, it brings with it such residual imbalances. If these imbalances are severe, they can trigger a healing crisis within the embodiment. I have observed many of my light worker friends as they have gone through the oversoul consolidation process. And it seems to be a very common experience that such a Light Worker may feel that they are in good health, and then "wham", all of a sudden a physical disorder will spring up -- seemingly from nowhere. As I have tuned into such situations, it is very common that such a crisis has been caused by a residual imbalanced situation in one of the incoming souls - - usually the most recent one to integrate into the embodiment. A similar phenomenon can occur related to emotional or mental energy imbalances. Usually these are somewhat more subtle, although no less important, than those that occur on a physical level.

External/Internal Issues

There is yet another unexpected issue which sometimes arises in conjunction with the soul consolidation process. As a way of introducing this issue, let me use as an example the experience of one of my Light Worker friends.

In the early stages of her spiritual awakening, a "teacher" within the unseen dimensions came to her and introduced himself (she related to him as a male energy), and indicated that he would be assisting her in her Lightwork mission to the extent that she would be open to his assistance. His energy was very loving, and he seemed very wise, so she gratefully accepted his offer. As her spiritual unfolding continued, he played an increasingly important role in her life and in her work. Her path of service involved leading workshops and doing individual soul- oriented counseling. By mutual agreement, he often would merge into her embodiment during a workshop, and share teachings directly with the participants in her workshops. As a side note, the two of them became very important teachers for me in the early stages of my awakening.

This relationship between the two of them continued for at least 20 years, and he became her dearest friend and source of inspiration. One day he came to her (on the unseen dimensions, of course) and indicated that he would no longer be able to serve her in this way. He indicated that the reason for this is that he would be merging into her embodiment along with her. Her emotional reaction to this announcement was of, course, intense. On the one hand, she felt a tremendous loss -- as though her closest and dearest friend was going to "die". Yet, on the other hand, she felt elation that his love and wisdom would now become a part of "her". As the situation turned out, of course, he was simply one of the other souls of the oversoul cluster of which she also was a part. And it was time to integrate into the embodiment in preparation for the ascension process.

Oversoul Cluster Consolidation

Next, let's consider the concept of oversoul cluster consolidation. In certain situations, the entire oversoul cluster may be ready to go through one of the galactic or universal initiations. One of the prerequisites for such an initiation is that the entire oversoul cluster much be integrated into a single embodiment. In such cases, after the individual oversoul has completed its consolidation process, it will then begin to integrate other oversouls of the cluster into the embodiment. From a human perspective, the experience of this procedure feels very much like a continuation of the earlier soul integration process.

Although the star-cluster oversoul was used as an example to discuss oversoul consolidation, the same concept applies to other oversoul configurations.

Uninvited Guests

I feel that it is important to discuss a subject that I have termed, "uninvited guests", at this point, because it can easily be confused with the oversoul consolidation process.

It is not uncommon for a soul who leaves embodiment through the "death" process to become disoriented and confused. Quite often such a soul still feels an attachment to the physical realm, and wants to continue to participate in experiences on that level. The most expedient way for such a soul to achieve this is to "attach" to some other embodiment. In many cases, it will attach to someone who had been a friend or family member in the lifetime just departed. Quite often it may be a situation in which a co-dependent relationship existed while in physical life, and then through the attachment process, this co- dependency is continued on after "death".

Although the vast majority of souls who attach in this manner do not have evil intent, such an attachment does not serve the highest good of either the soul who does the attaching, or the soul to whom the attachment is made.

Furthermore, it is very common that more than one soul will attach to the same embodiment. Thus, such a person may experience the multiple "attachments" as multiple "personalities", in a manner similar to which a Light Worker may experience multiple souls that have integrated into the embodiment through the oversoul consolidation process. There is, however, one very important distinguishing difference between these two types of experiences. In the case of soul attachments, it is very common to experience conflict among the various souls who have attached. In the case of oversoul consolidation, there is seldom, if ever, conflict among the souls who have integrated into the embodiment.

From a personal perspective, I have long been aware of the of the concept of "possession" by disembodied entities. However, I always just assumed that such possession was prevalent among people such as alcoholics, or others who had severely weakened their life energy field in various ways. But in recent years, I have lost a lot of my naivety in this regard, and have come to realize that soul attachment is very, very prevalent -- even among Light Workers.

If a person feels that they may be the host for such uninvited guests, my advice would be to seek the assistance of a spiritually-aware therapist who is experienced in helping to facilitate the release of such attachments. Although an individual may be able to release such attachments without assistance, some attached souls can be very stubborn, especially if they have been attached for a loang period of time. A very good book that contains helpful information and guidance on this issue is, "Soul Empowerment", by Rosalie Deer Heart and Michael Bradford. Another book on this subject that may be of interest is entitled, "The Unquiet Dead" , by Dr. Edith Fiore.

Soul Transfers (Walk-Ins)

Next, let's consider the subject of "soul transfers", more commonly know as "walk-ins". One of the early books on this subject was written by Ruth Montgomery, entitled, "Strangers Among Us" . This book was very helpful to me in understanding my own walk-in experienced, which occurred in 1972. Throughout the intervening years, I have come to broaden my perspective on this issue considerably, and now realize that there are a very wide variety of circumstances under which soul transfers may take place. It seems like virtually every walk-in experience is unique.

In general, however, a soul transfer involves the departure of the soul who currently inhabits a body, with the incoming soul taking over the incarnation from that point forward. Many of the Light Workers came into embodiment, as I did, through the soul transfer process. Most of this group came in during the 1970's. Virtually all of these situations were carefully planned in advanced. There are, however, many soul transfers that take place under more serendipitous circumstances. Some of these involve souls who have become weary of the human experience, and agree to make their body available to a soul (usually a more-evolved soul) who wants to incarnate. Liz Nelson, who lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, has founded a support network for walk-ins, known as "WE: Walk-Ins for Evolution", to help them deal with some of the unique issues associated with the walk-in experience.

Early "Retirement"

Although the subject of walk-ins has received considerable attention in recent years, a more recent phenomenon involving soul transfers has, as yet, received virtually no attention. Thus, I feel it is important to address this situation in considerable detail. This new phenomenon could perhaps be termed, "walk-outs"; however, I prefer the term "early retirement". Let's begin with a background perspective.

Before we came into incarnation for this final lifetime, we were thoroughly briefed on the overall transformation plan for Earth, and each of us clearly understood our individual assignments within the context of this overall mission. Although the details of the mission plan were not directly available to our human consciousness, we retained this knowledge within our oversoul. This included an awareness that group ascensions were planned to begin in the mid-1980's, and for most of us, the major part of our mission was to be completed after we were able to function within the human realm in our ascension body. So when ascension did not take place in this time-frame, there was a growing restlessness within many of the Light Workers. Aside from ascension, there were numerous other setbacks and delays in the mission. Although most of the Light Workers did not consciously understand the exact reasons for their restlessness, there was a general sense that there was much more important work that we had committed to do in the lifetime, yet the circumstances did not seem to enable clarity, or provide support for this work.

A significant part of the frustration focussed on economic issues. On this planet, the artificial economic system has been perpetrated by the Dark energies as a means of keeping humanity in bondage. Since most of the Light Workers have been less willing to play along with this game, most have found themselves in a continuing state of economic tension. Part of the difficulty is that the economic system is still aligned with the old ways. So there has been very little economic support for the Light Workers as they have endeavored to introduce new ways.

World events have not provided much of a source of encouragement. To a great extent, it has been one step forward, and two steps backward. For example, the breakup of the Soviet Union provided only a short-lived sense of optimism, as we watched the former suppression of the communist system replaced by the new tyranny of organized crime, and the destruction of their economic system through manipulated devaluation of the currencies. Also, the senseless killing and injuring of men, women, and children in continuing conflicts around the world has not provide much reason for encouragement.

Thus, as the months and years came and went during the latter part of the decade of the 80's, and early part of the 90's, an increasing number of Light Workers were becoming weary and discouraged.

When we, as Light Workers, agreed to come to Earth so very long ago, we agreed to remain here, come hell or high water (and we have been through both!), until the end of the cycle. It was anticipated that Earth would be firmly back on it evolutionary track by that time. But free will of the people of Earth cannot be overridden, and despite our best efforts, progress has been less than we anticipated.

The Spiritual Beings who guide the evolutionary course of this planet are compassionate beings. Most have experienced first-hand lifetime after lifetime in human embodiment here on Earth. So in March, 1994, a decision was made to make a new option available to the Light Workers. This option is limited to only those Light Workers who have been here for the longest time -- those who came here as part of the original group of 144,000 or the subsequent group of 60,000. Essentially the option goes like this:

For any of these Light Workers who would like to be released from their original commitment, and to return now to their home star system, such a request will be honored. Rather than accomplishing this through physical death, or through a lift-off of the physical body, a "soul transfer" will be arranged, and a new volunteer soul will come into the embodiment to finish out the normal human lifetime.

The incoming soul will also be a Light Worker, but in virtually all cases, one of lesser evolutionary development. Thus, it will still be possible to fulfill at least part of the mission of the original soul.

An aspect of the agreement related to the soul transfer is that conscious knowledge of the transfer will be "sealed", and not made available to the incoming soul. The intent of this is to minimize disruption to the human life.

I personally have mixed feelings regarding this new option. From the standpoint of the soul, it is a wonderful, and well deserved opportunity to be released from a very difficult situation, and to finally return home. However, from the perspective of the "human-self" that remains on Earth, the struggle continues.

Quite a few of my Light Workers friends have elected this option. For me, it is a great feeling of loss, for the soul that I have known and loved for so very long is no longer in the familiar embodiment. Quite frankly, in many cases I don't quite know how to relate to the remaining human- self. My experience has been that even though in most cases the human-self does not have conscious awareness that it no longer embodies the same soul, there is some sort of an unconsciousness awareness that bleeds through. And there seems to be a sort of "pulling back" on their part from our friendship, since the soul-resonance of the original soul is no longer part of our relationship.

It also has been interesting to observe some of the Light Workers who have lived high-profile lives in the music and motion picture business, who have accepted the early retirement option. There have been some very profound shifts in the focus of their lives, and in the nature of the soul essence which the emanate.

It is not clear to me to what extent the decision of a soul to leave under this option is made only by the soul, or made in collaboration by the soul and human-self. My guidance assures me that the human-self must be in agreement with the decision. In my own case, I have made it clear to my higher-self that I am not amenable to this option, so long as I have any say-so in this matter. And my higher-self assures me that it has no intention of accepting this option.

This "early retirement" option, which was first made available in March, 1994, continues to be available.

Soul "Braiding"

The foregoing types of soul consolidations and transfers are but a few of the virtually infinite variety of soul rearrangements that are taking place at this time. During recent years, the term soul "braiding" has come into common use among various Light Workers in reference to the integration of more than one soul into a single embodiment. My perspective is that many of the situations that have been referred to as soul braiding simply involve oversoul consolidation, as discussed earlier in this section. However, in some cases, the integration of an additional soul unit into an embodiment may be or a more temporary nature.

For example, if a person is in an important leadership position, one or more of the souls from the same oversoul structure may merge into the embodiment for a period of time to assist in carrying our a particular task. In some cases, the such a temporary merger may involve a soul from an entirely different oversoul unit.

Soul braiding, whether long-term or short-term, is always done under mutual consent of the "host" oversoul and the incoming soul unit. And there is always mutual benefit -- the embodiment is able to more easily accomplish a specific task, and the incoming soul is afforded an additional learning experience.
