Planet Earth is nearing the completion of an evolutionary cycle that originated approximately 480,000 years ago. At the beginning of each such cycle, a "blueprint" is established to guide the nature of the experiences that are to unfold throughout the cycle. With regard to Earth, the blueprint for this particular evolutionary cycle was designed to provide souls an opportunity to experience a great diversity of life forms. Thus, in the beginning, samples of genetic structures were gathered from planetary systems throughout our universe. These were then used to create a wide variety of plant and animal forms. Approximately 300,000 years ago, conditions had evolved to the point that it was deemed appropriate to seed the planet with sentient species. Thus, a large number of new souls were created, and a variety of human and cetacean forms were seeded upon the lands and within the oceans.

In the very early stages of this cycle, all went well. But then something happened that drastically altered the manner in which the evolutionary experience on our planet unfolded. In order to understand the nature of this alteration, it would be helpful to consider the concept of free will, and the related idea of Light and Darkness.

Free Will

In order to provide an opportunity for souls to learn through their individual and collective experiences, our Creator gifted us with free will. Thus, as each soul exercises free will in making choices throughout the course of life, there is an opportunity to learn from the consequences experienced as a result of each choice. This is sometimes referred to as learning through the principle of "cause and effect," or "karma." The principle of free will exists, at least to some degree, throughout all of creation. However, in the various universes, the expression of free will is allowed by the Creator to greater or lesser extremes. In our particular universe, free will is allowed to a very high degree.

Light and Darkness

Next, let's consider the idea of Light and Darkness. If we were to contemplate the highest ideals of behavior that we are able to conceive, we would perhaps describe these ideals using words such as Love, Compassion, Joy, Beauty, Purity, and Courage. Such words relate to what will be referred to in this booklet as the Virtues of our Creator. As we make choices in our daily lives -- in other words, as we exercise the free will that our Creator has given us -- we find that if we make choices that are in alignment with the Virtues of our Creator, our lives tend to be joyful and uplifted. On the other hand, if we make choices that are out of alignment with such Virtues, we generally find that our lives are unhappy and unfulfilling. Another way of saying this is that if the choices we make in our lives are in alignment with the Virtues of our Creator, we live in the Light. On the other hand, to the degree that our choices are out of alignment with such Virtues, we live in Darkness. Throughout this book, the terms Light and Darkness will be used to denote the degree to which intentions are in alignment with the Virtues of our Creator.

Introduction of Fear and Divisiveness

Now, let's return to our story. The creator-beings who designed the blueprint for our current cycle of evolution are beings who serve the Light. As indicated earlier, all went well in the initial stages. But approximately 220,000 years ago, a group of beings who were in alignment with the Darkness raided Planet Earth. Their intent was to disrupt the original plan, and to use the planet for their own purposes. Their primary method of achieving this was through the introduction of fear and divisiveness into the consciousness of humankind. Thus began a struggle on this planet between the forces of Light and the forces of Darkness that continues unto the present day.

144,000 Light Workers

After the initial raid, however, the beings of Light who conceived the original blueprint were not content to sit idly by and watch their plans rent asunder. Thus, from within the councils of Light, a call was issued throughout our galaxy, soliciting volunteers to come to Earth to assist in restoring the original plan. In response to this call, 144,000 volunteers came. These were beings who had achieved a high degree of evolutionary development, and who had demonstrated their ability time after time to hold true in their service to the Light. In this book, these beings will be referred to as the "Light Workers."

Within the councils of Light, it was believed that by having these Light Workers incarnate upon Earth as humans, or in some cases as cetaceans, they would soon be able to guide humanity back into alignment with the original plan. But the forces of Darkness proved to be a formidable adversary. Many of the volunteers who came to serve the Light soon found themselves becoming entangled in the web of fear and divisiveness that was growing within the consciousness of humanity.

60,000 Reinforcements

But the forces of Light were not to be deterred. Approximately 130,000 years ago, a second call for volunteers was issued from within the councils of Light. This time an additional 60,000 volunteer Light Workers came to Earth. Like those who responded to the first call, these reinforcements incarnated upon the planet over and over again. Throughout the millennia that followed, various plans were conceived and implemented. Oftentimes the Light Workers would incarnate together in large numbers within certain civilizations, intending in this way to sow the seeds of higher consciousness within humankind. But the struggles continued. And the evolution of Earth fell farther and farther behind the schedule that had been laid out in the original blueprint.

Additional Support

Something had to be done. So once again, approximately 6,000 years ago, the councils of Light were convened. When the original 144,000, and the subsequent group of 60,00 Light Workers came to Earth, they were essentially left here on their own. And the space ships which brought them here returned to their home ports within the various star systems of our galaxy. But this time a different plan was conceived. As additional volunteers of Light were recruited from throughout our galaxy, it was decided that only about half of these would incarnate upon Earth. The other half would remain aboard the spaceships. And this time the spaceships would remain here within the environs of Earth, rather than returning to their home ports. Thus, those who remained in the ships would serve as support teams to assist all of the Light Workers who incarnated within the physical domain of Earth. But unlike those who incarnated on Earth, the Light Workers in the ships would retain full conscious awareness of the mission they had come to serve. Because of the universal law of non-interference, however, the Light Workers within the ships would generally be precluded from direct intervention in the affairs of humankind.

So when the third call for volunteers went out from the councils of Light, some 6,000 years ago, approximately 66,000 responded. It is well to note that 6,000 years ago equates to about the year 4,000 BC on our Gregorian calendar. Thus, this third call took place during the very early period of our recorded history.

The Christ Energies

The struggles continued, and the end of the cycle was rapidly approaching. So, in approximately 200 BC, yet another plan was devised within the councils of Light. This would involve the incarnation of a being of high consciousness, known in the Christian tradition as Jesus, the Christ. Many of the Light Workers already within the realm of Earth would incarnate at the same time, and in the same geographic location, to bring an additional infusion of Light into the consciousness of humankind. In addition to the existing Light Workers, a fourth call went out for additional volunteers to participate in this plan, and this time approximately 33,000 responded. Although the recorded history of this endeavor is permeated with inaccuracies, we none-the-less have a general awareness of what transpired.

The "Great Immigration" of Light Workers

The subsequent centuries came and went, and many of the civilizations of Earth plunged into the so-called Dark Ages. In approximately the year 1525 AD, yet another plan was unveiled. This would involve the immigration of a large number of evolving souls from other celestial systems. Although many of these souls would not necessarily be more advanced than the indigenous souls of Earth, they would bring with them their experiences from other planetary systems. Also importantly, they would not be encumbered like their Earth counterparts with the battle scars resulting from aeons of struggle with the forces of Darkness. This immigration plan has remained open, with an increasing number of souls taking advantage of this opportunity with each passing decade. To date, approximately 300,000 souls have immigrated to Earth through this process.

The Mission Plan

During the year 1915 AD, with slightly less than 100 years remaining until the culmination of this great cycle of evolution on Earth, the councils of Light were once again convened. It was now time to plan the final phase of this great struggle here on Earth between the forces of Light and the forces of Darkness.

So a game-plan was formulated. This would be the final incarnation on Earth for many of the Light Workers. The plan provided that some would incarnate through the natural birth process, while others would incarnate as "soul transfers", more commonly known as "walk-ins". They would infiltrate virtually every civilization on Earth, under a wide range of circumstances. The Light Workers would incarnate in forgetfulness of who they are, in order to be able to relate to humankind. A few would incarnate within families where there would be support and understanding as they awakened to their true Cosmic heritage. But most would incarnate alone, among families of limited spiritual awareness. For most, the early years of incarnation would be lonely and difficult. But this would help to build the strength that would be needed during the final years of the cycle.

The Great Awakening

In the same manner that the energies of Springtime serve to awaken the trees and plants from their cycle of dormancy, so also would certain energies be directed to Planet Earth at the appropriate times to awaken the Light Workers to their higher calling. These incoming energies would interact with genetic structures embedded within the Light Workers to bring about transmutations within their minds, bodies, and souls.

The time is now. The energies are here. The awakening and transmutation process is underway. We have entered into the final two decades of this great cycle. It is time for us, the Light Workers, to come into the fullness of WHO WE ARE, and to remember the great PURPOSE we have come to serve. It is time for us to link together with each other, and thus help lift the consciousness of humanity of Earth to a higher dimension of LIFE.

In many ways, the foregoing story has been overly simplified. Yet its essence remains true. The struggle between the forces of Light and the forces of Darkness extend far beyond the realms of Earth. And the drama that is now unfolding here on Earth is but a tiny part of a much larger drama that is unfolding within the Cosmic realms, as we also near the completion of a multi-million year cycle of Cosmic evolution.

Although this story has been told from the perspective of linear sequential Earth time, we know that time is not necessarily linear or sequential. Many of us have already lived lives in the future as well as the past. And as we awaken to WHO WE ARE, some of us are already remembering how to traverse the corridors of time and space -- to work simultaneously in the future, the present, and the past -- not only here on Earth, but throughout our galaxy and beyond.
